About me

I’m a single mom of two sons (14 and 6 yrs. old). Mid-life crisis, premenopausal, and just started working full time. It sure as hell hasn’t been easy and still isn’t. My teenager gives me a hard time, but I will manage; it’s easier now. I have more time for myself.
For the last six years, I have been just a parent, a mom. I don’t even remember what else I am. This blog is my journey to find my authentic self again. Who am I other than mom? After many years of being “just” a mom, what has changed in me? I’m trying to discover the ways that make single parenting easier or at least more manageable. I’m finding small ways to cheer up and begin to glow again.
